Victoria Longdon

Victoria Longdon is an Associate Conductor for top UK choir Ex Cathedra, the Director of the Covent Garden Chorus and conducts several adult chamber choirs in London. 

She studied choral conducting at the Royal Academy of Music, and later trained with Alice Farnham as part of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s Women Conductors’ Scheme. 

She is a conductor for the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain and the Hertfordshire County Youth Choir, has taught aural skills at the Junior Guildhall School of Music and coaches for the Royal Schools of Church Music and Philharmonia Orchestra. 

She is a passionate educator and advocate for classical music, and was recently shortlisted for a ‘Woman Of The Future’ award for her work in the field. 

Victoria has appeared on the BBC as a conductor and adjudicator for Songs of Praise and a judge on two series of BBC2’s ‘The Choir’ with Gareth Malone. She also works with BBC Three Counties Radio and ClassicFM.
