For the final instalment of this season’s Hans Keller Forum at Burgh House series, we invited you to an open masterclass with Quartet Concrète, who will be mentored by Sini Simonen through the following repertoire:

Bringing together exceptional young chamber ensembles, the programme showcases musicians at an important stage in their artistic development as they build professional careers beyond conservatoire. The Series offers the opportunity not only to refine performances with leading chamber musicians, but also to reconnect with Chamber Studio’s artistic community, sustaining the collaborative spirit of the Forum.
The Hans Keller Series at Burgh House forms part of a new three-part programme taking place across the 2026–27 season. Each residency combines coaching, public engagement and performance at this important London venue, providing a high-profile platform for emerging chamber ensembles as they move from conservatoire training into the next stage of their professional careers.
The programme is named in memory of the musician, writer and broadcaster Hans Keller. A renowned authority on chamber music, Keller coached most of the leading ensembles of his day, inspired contemporary composers to write in this form, and through his work at the BBC did much to build and teach a new audience for chamber music.
