Hans Keller Series at Burgh House
As part of a new artistic partnership between Chamber Studio and Burgh House, this series provides graduates of the Hans Keller Forum for an extended period of study, rehearsal and performance….

Chamber Studio’s residency at Lavethan offers piano trios the opportunity to spend concentrated time developing their work through rehearsal, coaching and performance.
Set within the grounds of a historic Cornish house, Lavethan provides a quiet and supportive environment in which ensembles can step away from the pressures of their usual schedules and give sustained attention to their repertoire. The residency allows time for detailed rehearsal, experimentation and discussion, with space for musicians to explore mentors’ perspectives and develop their musical voice.
Alongside their own rehearsal and study, ensembles receive intensive coaching from experienced Chamber Studio faculty, Krysia Osostowicz and Tim Horton. Sessions are tailored to the needs of each group, with a focus on musical interpretation, ensemble technique and communication, as well as the broader artistic questions that emerge through working closely together.
The residency concludes with a performance in the newly restored Barn at Lavethan, giving ensembles the opportunity to bring their work together in front of an audience.
For Chamber Studio, the residency is part of an ongoing commitment to supporting chamber ensembles beyond the conservatoire: providing the time, expertise and environment for musicians to develop their practice, deepen their collaboration and establish themselves as an ensemble.
Participating Ensembles and Repertoire TBA.
