Richard Ireland Artistic Director/CEO

Richard founded ChamberStudio in 2010. He designs the programmes and works with all the musicians involved.

London-born into a musical family, Richard is one of the UK’s leading chamber musicians and has been a regular performer at London’s Wigmore Hall, South Bank Centre, Kings Place, and at all of the major chamber music venues across Europe.

Richard is Professor of Violin at the Royal Academy of Music.

Matt Rogers General Manager

Matt works closely with Richard to ensure the effective management of all aspects of ChamberStudio.

After an early education as a chorister in Cornwall, he studied music at the RCS, the GSMD, and the Sibelius-Akatemia. He was latterly a member of the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme at the Royal Opera House.

Matt combines a career working in some of the world’s leading opera houses with his roles at ChamberStudio and the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where he leads the Careers & Entrepreneurship department. A chartered marketer and member of the Association of Accounting Technicians, Matt is passionate about forging a stronger future for the performing arts.
